What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
The Brazilian Butt Lift is a form of buttock augmentation in which the buttocks are enlarged using autologous fat (see above buttock augmentation with autologous fat). The procedure increases the volume and tightens the buttocks at the same time.
The implementation of a Brazilian Butt Lift should be urgently reviewed by a experienced specialist The procedure can also be dangerous. If the implanted fat gets into the bloodstream and lungs, a fat embolism can occur (= blockage of the blood vessels by fat droplets), this can lead to death. To increase safety, we use an intraoperative ultrasound examination.

As a rule, the operation itself is performed during an inpatient stay of 1 to 2 days.
You should take it easy for about 2 weeks after the operation. Try not to sit too much during this time. Sports and physical exertion are usually possible again after 6 to 8 weeks after the operation.
What are the risks?
As with any operation, there are risks or possible complications. We will explain all the individual surgical risks on your way to your dream buttocks during your preliminary examination.
Possible complications include:
- Pain, redness, bruising, swelling and changes in sensation (e.g. numbness or tightness) after the procedure.
- Postoperative bleeding, infections and wound healing disorders
- When enlarging with implants: Encapsulation of the implant
- Please note that complications can result in follow-up costs
