Endoscopic and classic forehead lift - the procedure
Two methods are available for forehead lifting: The endoscopic forehead lift and the classic forehead lift. Endoscopic forehead lift in Kassel
The endoscopic forehead lift is performed using the so-called keyhole technique. This small access route leaves only fine scars later - and the healing time is much shorter. Prof. Dr. Noah places the access points in the hairy area of the temples. Now superfluous tissue can be carefully removed. This results in a slight lifting of the eyebrows and a softening of forehead wrinkles and especially frown lines. The aim of this procedure is to lift the brows minimally and at the same time smooth the forehead. This gives you an awake, refreshed but still natural expression. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and takes up to two hours.
Classic forehead lift
In the case of advanced ageing with sagging skin and deep forehead wrinkles, the classic forehead lift is recommended. This involves making appropriate incisions in the skin in the area of the hairline. Thanks to our experience, we achieve "invisible scarring" with the forehead lift, so that even if the hair on the forehead recedes or a short hairstyle is worn, the scars are hardly visible. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia or in twilight sleep, the inpatient stay is one day.
Aftercare for a forehead lift
Patients who have had an endoscopic forehead lift are usually fit again somewhat more quickly. However, regardless of the surgical method, rest and recuperation are recommended for the first few days. You can treat swellings and bruises with moderate cooling, and keep your head elevated whenever possible - this supports the lymphatic drainage. Patients are socially fit again after about one to two weeks; sports should be avoided for at least four weeks.
