More information about the case 👇 Medical indication: Correction of a tubular breast This before and after comparison does not show classic „cosmetic surgery“, but rather the reconstruction of a congenital malformation. The 29-year-old patient had a pronounced bilateral tubular breast (tubular breast) - with a severe lack of tissue in the lower breast quadrants, shortened distance between the nipple and underbust fold, significant asymmetry and herniation of the breast tissue with enlarged areolas. Surgical strategy: Due to a lack of fat reserves for lipofilling, the correction was performed using implants. To compensate for the asymmetry, the narrowed breast footprint and the tissue deficit, transverse oval implants (Polytech Opticon Plus Mesmo) were inserted submuscularly. In addition, the glandular constriction was released internally, the underbust fold was lowered and a periareolar lift was performed on the right side to reduce the size of the areola. Despite intensive strength training, a deeply retracted caesarean section scar remained, where the tissue was painfully raised. What is a mini-abdominoplasty?
