Putting on ears, reducing earlobes
During ear correction, the incisions are made behind the ear or in a skin fold in front of the ear so that the scars are not noticeable later. In principle, ear correction is performed under local anaesthesia. However, in the case of children, an anaesthetic and an overnight stay in hospital are recommended. Another area of ear correction is excessively large or torn earlobes, which are often perceived as unpleasantly disturbing. This is where earlobe reduction can help. This problem can be corrected relatively easily with a simple procedure by our specialists, which is performed as an outpatient or inpatient procedure under local anaesthesia. The incision of the scar is made so that it is hardly visible.
