NOSE SURGERY / NOSE CORRECTION IN KASSEL
To ensure and optimise the desired surgical result, we offer you the ideal combination of functional and aesthetic surgery through cooperation between qualified ENT doctors and aesthetic plastic surgeons. A successful nose operation can increase self-esteem enormously. The nose is the centre of the face and therefore an eye-catcher. A nose that is too wide or even bumpy can disturb the aesthetics of the face and have an unfavourable effect. Rhinoplasty is one of the most common facial operations to change the outer shape of the nose.

What is the procedure for the nose operation?
In the field of aesthetic medicine, there are very good correction possibilities when:
- the nose is too big, too small or too narrow
- appears too wide or too long (hooked nose)
- it is a hump nose
- the nose is crooked
- it is a saddle nose
It does not matter whether the shape of the nose is congenital or has been changed by an accident. Young people, however, should wait with an operation until growth is largely complete.
There are two ways to perform a nose operation: a closed rhinoplasty (from the inside through the nostrils) or an open rhinoplasty. The treatment is performed under general anaesthesia and takes about 2 - 3 hours. After completion of the operation, the result is protected with a self-dissolving nasal tamponade (for about 2 - 4 days) and with a plaster cast, which can be removed after about two weeks.
Swelling, bruising and bleeding often occur during the healing process. In general, the operation is free of complications and the scars heal well.
Think about the follow-up cost insurance of your nose correction!
Complications can never be completely ruled out. That is why it makes sense to take out follow-up cost insurance. It covers the further treatment costs, which are often not covered by the health insurances (§52 Social Code). You can get more information in our consultation hours.
We look forward to your visit!
