Dr Sabine Schmatloch is a dedicated and highly qualified specialist in gynaecology with a focus on gynaecological oncology. After studying medicine at the Universities of Würzburg and Regensburg, she completed her doctorate with an experimental thesis on the transcriptional regulation of topoisomerase II.
Her professional career has taken her through positions in Nuremberg and Kassel to her current position as Chief Physician of the Breast Centre at Elisabethkrankenhaus Kassel. She has led an interdisciplinary team there with great expertise and empathy since 2015. Her focus is on breast cancer diagnostics and therapy, supported by additional qualifications such as DEGUM I breast sonography and the management of certified breast centres. Dr Schmatloch is active in numerous specialist associations and is committed to modern, aesthetic reconstructive surgical procedures and international humanitarian projects.
