Removal of adipose tumors
In surgery adipose tumors are another definition for soft part tumors, where as the word tumor primarily means a swelling or growth of new tissue. Most of the time, these adipose tumors are occurring underneath the skin of the neck and the upper extremities. A treatment is usually quite easy, small tumors are removed under local anesthesia and leave only tiny little scars. For larger tumors we are using the Liposuction method. Of course every removed tumor is additionally examined histological in our laboratories.
